CHANGES TO 2009-2010 ALLSTAR SEASON

Welcome to the site for the 2009-2010 Georgia Interstate Allstar team 

We represent the best youth bowlers in the state of Georgia.

If you don't know about our organization, we are in our 14th year.  We take the best bowlers in two age divisions and compete against youth bowlers in North and South Carolina.  Complete information on our organization is located under the What is the Interstate Allstars? tab.

Due to the change in USBC youth age requirements, the Interstate allstar teams will now only have two divisions.  The divisions for the 2009-2010 season will be as follows:

15 and under: 2 girls, 2 boys teams

16 and up: 2 girls, 2 boys teams

Each team will have 5 bowlers and 1 alternate.  There will be a minimum of 44 combined bowlers for next season.

Dress Code:

         SAT - Black Allstar Shirt & Khaki Pants

         SUN - Black Allstar Shirt & Black Pants

         NO JEANS, NO EXCEPTIONS

Tournament Format:

Saturday:

     Team Roll Call at 12:00 PM (NOON)

     Announcements and Team Introductions

     Competition starts at 1:00 PM (Bowling 6 games league atmosphere)

     No Cheering from spectators and /or Parents

     Only Allstar Team Coaches are allowed in pit area, No parents are allowed in Pit area.

Bowl games 1, 2, & 3

Break for lunch - Provided by the Host State

Bowl games 4, 5, & 6

Sunday: 8:30 AM

     No roll call, go straight into tournament play

     12 Games, Baker Style (like Collegiate play)

     Cheering allowed, but no artificial noise makers

     Tallying of scores

     11:00 AM - Awards Presentations

     Announcement of next Tournament
